WoTLK and WoW = Faltering?

With the release of the new MMO Warhammer online, WoW has seen many members of its player base pack up their raiding gear and head for the new MMO that offers to be something different. This said I'd like to address the fact that WoW nerds might actually be getting a little bored of the same old Raiding Grind. They simply aren't entertained enough with doing the same raids over and over again to get the same epic armor to sell on the same auction house. Alot of WoW fans are really just people who keep playing because they have friends who still play and they don't want to lose touch with the people they've met while playing the game that captured their hearts for so long.

Now that's not to say that it's a bad thing that they're staying merely because of ties to friends and whatnot, but on the eve of the release of many promising MMORPGs that could potentially Replace, or just rival, WoW: Warhammer, Chronicles of Spellborne, Darkfall Online, AoC(if it manages to get out of the rut it seems to be in) MMOnerds are looking for a way out of WoW and the only way they can do that is by changing games, or give up playing MMORPGs all together, *gasp* and that, realistically, won't happen for too many players.

Anyway that's all i wanted to say, i was just thinking out loud...or on keyboard...whatever.
There's an interesting Thread on the Darkfall Forums that, after reading, led me to thinking about this and putting it into words, go check it out!
2nd Round of Beta Keys: Darkfall online

Darkfall Online sent out their second round of closed beta keys today. Sadly, i didn't get one, however they have said that might be sending out keys as early as tonight, and as often as every day, so i'm still hopeful that i'll be getting a key.
Upcomming MMOS

I can't think of an intro to this so here you go! The title says it all.

C9 (Continent of the Ninth)

Awesome looking new game by Hangame. Nothing known (by me) about character customization or if it's going to be a persistant world or not, but i have high hopes for this game.

Blade & Soul

Another awesome new game in development by NCsoft, looks to add dynamic combat and console like movement and controls to the MMO genre, sure to be a major contender with alot of well known MMOs

Darkfall Online

Revolutionary new MMO that promises to change the way people look at online games, the makers claim that you will be able to do ANYTHING you want in this game (within reason I.E no rape) pillage, plunder, rob, steal, hire yourself out as a mercenary, with a strong emphasis on PvP, i hope this game can pull off everything that it sets out to do...

And there you have it, the 3 MMOs that i am awaiting the most, i hope you all enjoyed this, and found it exciting and informational.
The Sims 2: Apartment Life

This expansion for The Sims 2 completely rocks my sox, i just got it yesterday and i can't stop playing it! (i can't stop playing Sims normally but this just adds to the effect) In the newest addition to the Sims repertoire you can move into an appartment, instead of living in a house. This is especially cool because instead of moving into a big house that you don't need because you're single, you move into an appartment.
You can also get a roommate! and you can be social with your neighbors, this makes it so much easier to gain friends, rather than calling them and inviting them over, just head next door and say hello! When you get a roommate you split the rent and you gain a new friend! (well not automatically but you get it)

One of my favorite additions to the sims thanks to this expansion is the ability to become a witch! Just become friends with a witch and they'll teach you the ways of the arts! So cool

now if you'll excuse me i have to go freeze time and send my minion to attack my enemies...good day.
I don't believe it

I've realised why i stopped playing FFXI...again! I'm really mad at myself. The fact is the game is getting old and boring, i can't get as far in it as i thought i would be able to because i just don't have enough time! i'm just going to cancel my subscription (again) and start up another game...Age of Conan perhaps, i've seen my friends playing it and it looks amazing truthfully. I hope that the few readers that i have won't stop reading because i switched. Oh well, whatever....
